What facial harmony actually means

"Facial harmony" is used often and defined rarely. It does not mean symmetry — every face, including yours, is naturally asymmetric, and that asymmetry is part of what makes a face recognisable and individual.

In practice, facial harmony refers to the relationship between features rather than any single feature in isolation: how the chin relates to the jaw, how the lips relate to the lower third of the face, how the cheeks support the midface. Treating one area without considering this relationship is how results end up looking disconnected from the rest of the face.

This is why a consultation takes time. Before any treatment is recommended, the whole face is assessed — proportion, movement, skin quality — so that any change made supports the face as a whole, rather than isolating a single feature.
